Rob Pitt

Rob grew up in Devon and joined the Royal Marines aged 17, serving 6 years before leaving in 2000 to pursue a career in training and development. He specialises in providing learning experiences that enable teams and individuals to work more effectively, by focusing on improving processes, relationships and alignment. Rob's experience ranges from developing small functional teams in public sector organizations and UK based businesses, to working internationally, facilitating conferences, workshops and development programs, for global businesses in various sectors.
Rob's passion in life is climbing and mountaineering and he can usually be found on the crags near his home in North Wales, or on trips to Scotland, the Alps, Norway or a sunny European sport-climbing venue. He is a professional Mountaineering Instructor (MIA) and has led trekking expeditions in Central America, the Andes (Argentina, Chile, Peru), Mexico, Africa (Kilimanjaro) and the Himalayas (Ladakh and Nepal). He is also a keen white water kayaker and does some ski touring too...

Nick Arding OBE

Nick has 16 years experience as a mountaineering instructor and worked as a military skiing and climbing instructor throughout UK and Europe during his career in the Royal Marines. He has led climbing expeditions to the Himalayas and Alaska, including the 2003 Royal Navy & Royal Marines expedition to Mount Everest, during which 2 members of the team reached the summit & the remainder carried out a remarkable high altitiude rescue, saving the lives of 2 injured climbers. Nick now works as a leadership consultant, using his powerful ability to transfer the lessons learned from leading teams in extreme situations, to the business environment in which he now operates. Nick holds the Mountain Instructor Certificate and International Mountain Leader Award. He climbs E3/4 on rock, has extensive Scottish winter and Alpine experience, and is a very keen Sea Kayaker.

Ceri Williams

Ceri has operated at the highest level within the world of business consultancy and personnel development, working with organisations such as Diageo, Guinness, Smirnoff, Unilever and Reuters. Ceri has extensive expedition and mountaineering experience, which includes the jungles of Borneo and Central America, the Arctic, the Sahara Dessert, Africa, Europe, China, Nepal and Scandinavia. Ceri's passion is Kayaking and as a Level 5 Kayak Coach he has worked at the cutting edge of paddlesport coaching for 20 years. He also holds the Mountain Instructor and Winter Mountain Leader awards. Ceri's great talent lies in helping people to reach their goals in business and sport through performance coaching. He is an NLP Master Practitioner and Master Hypnotherapist.

Philippa Arding

Philippa has been involved in the design and delivery of personal developement, management training and leadership courses since 1985, working with an impressive portfolio of international business clients. She is a extraordinarily talented and experienced coach with an amazing ability to bring out the best in people. Her expedition experience includes leading young people and professional clients trekking in Kenya (Mt. Kenya), Pakistan, Poland, Peru, Tibet (Everest base camp), Ecuador and Morrocco. She is a comitted rock climber and holds the Single Pitch Award, International Mountain Leader Award and is working towards her Mountain Instructor Award. Dispite being seriously injured in a near fatal farming accident in 2007, and a very difficult (and ongoing) recovery, she refuses to let anything hold her back and continues to inspire us all. Philippa is a legend!

Dave Pearce

Dave has worked with global clients such as Diageo and Reuters, helping them to become more effective. He has organised and led mountaineering expeditions globally and his personal climbing portfolio includes numerous classic Alpine North Faces, "The Nose" on El Capitan and the South Face of the Washington Column. He reached 27,000 feet on Kangchenjunga without oxygen and in May 2003 Dave summited Mount Everest by its North Ridge. He was on Everest again in 2006 guiding a camera crew during the Army West Ridge attemp. Dave holds the Mountain Instructor Certificate and is an International Mountain Leader.
