Rob Pitt

 
Rob grew up in Devon and joined the Royal Marines at the tender age of 17, serving 6 years before leaving in 2000 to pursue an ever growing passion for climbing and mountaineering. Since then he has made a living by balancing climbing instruction, expedition leadership and team and leadership development. Rob is a qualified Mountain Instructor (MIA) and member of the Association of Mountaineering Instructors. His climbing experience includes many classic extreme grade rock climbs such as Dreadnought (E3, Berry Head), The Big Groove (E3, Gogarth), and Left Wall (E2, Dinas Cromlech). Scottish winter routes include Point Five Gully, (V/5 Ben Nevis), Savage Slit (V/6 Cairngorms) and many more. He has climbed a number of classic routes in the Alps, waterfall ice in Norway, and sport climbs in Sardinia, France and Spain. Rob has led trekking expeditions in the Pyrenees, Central America, the Andes (Argentina, Chille, Peru), Africa (Kilimanjaro), the Himalayas and Mexico. He works as an associate for a number of business consultancies; facilitating conferences, training programmes, and development workshops throughout Europe, the US and Asia.

Nick Arding OBE

 
Nick has 16 years experience as a mountaineering instructor and has worked as a military skiing and climbing instructor throughout UK and Europe. He has led climbing teams to the Himalayas and Alaska. In 2003 he organised & led a very successful expedition to Mount Everest; 2 members of the team reached the summit & the remainder carried out a remarkable high altitiude rescue saving the lives of 2 injured climbers. Nick has a powerful ability to transfer the lessons learned from leading teams in extreme situations to the business environment in which he now operates. Nick holds the Mountain Instructor Certificate and International Mountain Leader Award, and is a ITC First Aid Trainer and Assessor.

Ceri Williams

 
Ceri has operated at the highest level within the world of business consultancy and personnel development, working with organisations such as Diageo, Guinness, Smirnoff, Unilever and Reuters. Ceri has extensive expedition and mountaineering experience, which includes the jungles of Borneo and Central America, the Arctic, Sahara Dessert, Africa, Europe, China, Nepal and Scandinavia. Ceri's passion is Kayaking and as a Level 5 Kayak Coach he has worked at the cutting edge of paddlesport coaching for 20 years. He also holds the Mountain Instructor and Winter Mountain Leader awards.

Philippa Arding

 
Having been involved in the design and delivery of personal developement, management training and leadership courses since 1985, working with an impressive portfolio of international business clients, Philippa is a extraordinarily talented and experienced coach with an amazing ability to bring out the best in people. Her expedition experience includes leading young people and professional clients trekking in Kenya (Mt. Kenya), Pakistan, Poland, Peru, Tibet (Everest base camp), Ecuador and Morrocco. She is a keen climber, enjoying British rock, Alpine mixed, and Scottish winter climbing. Philippa holds the Single Pitch and International Mountain Leader Awards, and is a trainiee MIA.

Dave Pearce

 
Dave has worked with global clients such as Diageo and Reuters, helping them to become more effective. He has organised and led mountaineering expeditions globally and his personal climbing portfolio includes numerous classic Alpine North Faces, "The Nose" on El Capitan and the South Face of the Washington Column. He reached 27,000 feet on Kangchenjunga without oxygen and in May 2003 Dave summited Mount Everest by its North Ridge. He will be on Everest again in 2006 guiding a camera crew during the Army West Ridge attemp. Dave holds the Mountain Instructor Certificate and is an International Mountain Leader.
